We ensure that our charms are compliant with the safety requirements for jewelry components sold within the European Union. These requirements relate to two seperate areas of law. One seeks to prevent skin rashes, known as nickel dermatitis. The second to significantly reduce the exposure to lead and other toxic metals. Testing has been carried out at Intertek (USA) and the Sheffield Assay Office (UK) to ensure compliance with the law.
Our top quality charms and jump rings are made in the USA. Unless otherwise stated gold plate is of 22k quality and 0.999 Fine silver is used for silver plating. The silver charms have been finished with an antiquing process.
Recycling
We have tried to keep the use of plastics in our products to a minimum.
The cardboard or paper components are as far as possible made from recycled or sustainable sources.
